Visiting the RBWM Inclusion Summit at Norden Farm

On the 8th of February, our Awards Officer, Clare Junak, visited the RBWM Inclusion Summit at Norden Farm. Clare went to check out potential new organisations that might benefit from Foundation funding while, at the same time, learning more about the great work that is being done in the borough to include marginalised groups in our communities.

Clare said: “It was great to talk with a wide variety of organisations, some of which the Shanly Foundation has helped in the past including the wonderful Autism Group and Parenting Special Children and of course the hosts Norden Farm, plus several new organisations that we might be able to help in the future.

Reaching out to potential new organisations is all part of the Foundations strategy to break down the barriers between funder and grantees to make accessing support as simple a process as possible.

It was great to meet so many wonderful people dedicated to doing so much good- an inspiring morning, thank you to all involved.”
