Combatting stress together

Combat Stress is an inspiring charity supporting veterans living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression or anxiety. These disorders are debilitating to mental health and can impact anyone including current and ex-members of the Armed Forces as well as loved ones. Combat Stress is aiming to overcome the stigma attached to mental health. The charity has recently raised awareness across social media with the ‘Push 22’ challenge, motivating others to do 22 push ups in support of veterans’ mental health. The charity provides vital support in firstly recognising the symptoms of disorders such as PTSD and tailor treatment packages specific to each veteran. The donation from the Shanly Foundation will directly help to rebuild the lives of veterans in the Buckinghamshire area.
