Cherry Trees

Cherry Trees charity provides home-from-home specialist short breaks for children and young adults aged 0-19 with a range of complex disabilities including learning, physical and sensory impairments. Based in Guildford, Surrey the charity is a lifeline for the families of more than 100 children and young people who are regularly cared for there, whether it be after school for a few hours, a weekend or even a couple of weeks stay.

Cherry Trees’ vision and value include treating the child first, disability second.

The Shanly Foundation has donated £2,000, which will go towards hosting a circus event for families in July of this year.
