Artistic Festival Students inspired by Sir Stanley Spencer

As part of the Cookham Festival 2017, art students at Berkshire College of Agriculture were commissioned to produce a unique large-scale piece of artwork to be installed facing onto Cookham Moor. Four teams of students, inspired by famous local artist Sir Stanley Spencer, incorporated various aspects and themes of his work into their design producing a visually bright and striking installation which also takes in local landmarks including Cookham bridge. The Shanly Foundation, who sponsored the installation, were hugely impressed by the quality of the artwork produced and the enthusiasm of the students involved.
